WELL are dedicated to delivering Customs compliant, multi-functional solutions that cover the wide range of Customs procedures and initiatives available to companies involved in duty management.
As we move increasingly towards global procurement, we face the complex issue of how the crossing of international boundaries may influence the economics of the supply chain. WELL is very experienced in managing simplified import declarations, Customs warehousing (bonded and excise), exporting, the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS), Single European Authorisations (SEA) and Intrastat reporting. WELL also offer solutions for companies operating the more specialist Customs procedures including Inward Processing Relief (IPR), Outward Processing Relief (OPR) and Processing under Customs Control (PCC).
WELL are pioneers in the area of Customs management and compliance processes and were one of the very first logistics companies in the UK to be accredited with Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status (Certificate No. GB/AEOF/00020/07). AEO is an accreditation scheme for businesses that can prove themselves to be trusted and compliant members of the international supply chain and therefore entitled to certain benefits. AEO is likely to become an internationally recognised quality mark for legitimate business. Applications are voluntary and in the UK HMRC are responsible for approving AEO applications, the status of which took effect throughout the EU on 1 January 2008.
