International Logistics company, Worldwide energy logistics limited (WELL), has implemented an Integrated Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management (QHSE) System, which is designed to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 (to be ISO 45001).
The scope of the management system covers “Global Logistics service provider”.
WELL Top Management commits to conduct its business in such a way as to comply with all legal requirements of the jurisdictions in which it operates, to maximise shareholder value and to operate so as to protect the life and health of those who its activity may effect and to minimise any aspects and impacts of environmental pollution.
WELL Top Management, employees and sub-contractors have a duty and a responsibility to behave in a professional, safe and environmentally responsible manner and shall abide by all the requirements of the Management System Policies, Procedures and other documents, as described in the WELL Group Documented Management System.
The content of the Management system shall be communicated, to those with responsibility to carry out its requirements, as appropriate for the roles of the individuals. This Policy document shall be made publically available upon request.
All persons working for or on behalf of WELL have an important role in creating, maintaining and improving a safe, healthy and efficient working environment, producing quality products and services and so creating shareholder value. In order to foster continuous improvement, which is a key objective of the management system, all have a duty in bringing to the attention of the Management any potential or realised non-conformances or observations of any event which may have an adverse impact, or likewise any suggestion for improvement. All persons have a right and a responsibility to stop any work they consider compromises quality, health, safety or the protection of the environment. Work shall only proceed once the reason for stopping has been considered by management and any corrective and preventive controls deemed appropriate have been effectively implemented.
In addition to the general objectives documented in this policy concise QHSE objectives are documented for each element of the management system in a specific objectives document.
This Policy Statement and objectives shall be reviewed for continuing suitability and re-authorised by The Board of Directors at least annually. This Policy Statement and any subsequent amendments shall be communicated to all employees and made available to interested parties. It shall be posted at all WELL locations, and shall be available electronically via the website at www.well.uk.com/group-qhse-policy
