Worldwide Energy Logistics limited (WELL), has implemented an Integrated Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management (QHSE) System, that is appropriate to the purpose and context of WELL, supports its strategic direction and designed to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.  This being a “Global Logistics service provider”.

Top Management commits to conduct its business in such a way as to comply with all legal requirements and other requirements of the jurisdictions in which it operates, to maximize shareholder value and to operate to protect the life and health of those who its activities may affect and to eliminate hazards, reduce risks and minimise any aspects and impacts of environmental pollution.

Top Management, employees, sub-contractors and others classed as workers have a duty and a responsibility to behave in a professional, safe and environmentally responsible manner and shall abide by all the requirements of the QHSE Policies, Procedures and other documents, as described in the WELL Group Documented Management System.

The content of the QHSE Management System shall be communicated, to those with responsibility to carry out its requirements, as appropriate for the roles of the individuals. This QHSE Policy is displayed on the WELL website for review by interested parties at www.well.uk.com/group-qhse-policy.

Persons working for or on behalf of WELL have an important role in creating, maintaining and improving a safe, healthy and efficient working environment, carrying out effective processes and so creating shareholder value.

To foster continual improvement, which is a key objective of the integrated management system, top management are committed to the consultation with and participation of workers who all have a duty in bringing to the attention of the management any potential or realised non-conformances or observations of any event which may have an adverse impact, or likewise any suggestion for improvement.

All persons have a right and a responsibility to stop any work they consider compromises quality, health, safety or the protection of the environment. Work shall only proceed once the reason for stopping has been considered by management and any corrective and preventive controls deemed appropriate have been effectively implemented.

In addition to the general objectives documented in this policy, QHSE objectives have been established at relevant levels and functions.

This Policy Statement and supporting objectives shall be reviewed for continuing suitability by the Managing Director at least annually.  This Policy Statement and any subsequent amendments shall be communicated to all employees and made available to other interested parties upon request.
